Primary Program

Last Sunday was Camdin's first time getting to participate in the primary program. He was given a short part that he memorized so well. He got up to the stage and only needed prompting once in the middle. He also sang beautify. He new words to songs that I don't:) We are so proud of you Camdin!

Since none of our families were able to make it I thought I would post a reenactment of it so everyone could enjoy it!

Happy Birthday Dustin!!

Dustin's Birthday was this last week and we as a family celebrated! He chose a restaurant and then we came home and had cake and opened up presents. I love the picture above with the kids helping him blow out the candles.
Happy Birthday Dustin!
We love you!

Camdin and Colton and showing Daddy how much they love him. This Much!

Fun Aunt Megan

Whenever Aunt Megan comes to visit the boys love it! She plays and plays with them. It was fun to hear them chasing each other around the kitchen loop and yelling who was it. Camdin and Colton were so sad to see her go. When I was explaining to Colton that Megan went on an airplane back to her home in Utah, he kept telling me over and over, "me Utah, mom."

We miss you Aunt Megan!

Four Wheeling

Last Saturday we left the kids with Grandma and Paka Conk and we went four wheeling. The kids were sad about not getting to go but a trip to McDonald's made them forget all about it:) It was a beautiful day and we were able to get some fun pics up at the top of the mountain. It had been raining all the week before so there was tons of mud, which made for a fun ride!

Dustin and Megan being silly:)

Tillicum Village

After our time at Pikes Market to went took a boat to Tillicum Village where we had baked salmon and watched a native dinner show. The boys did great they sat quietly and watched the show in amazement. Camdin even loved his salmon and ate lots. It was also interesting to here the history around Seattle and all of the small surrounding island.

The carvings were very colorful.

Camdin and Colton watching the salmon cook and riding a totem pole.

We all even had fun walking around the grounds in the rain after dinner.

Pikes Market

While Dustin's parents and sister were visiting us we took a day trip to Seattle. It sprinkled a little but was pretty warm and we had fun looking at all of the fresh beautiful things.

Our stroller got left out in the rain so our boys were forced to walk a lot. They did really good. Dustin did provide a couple rides for Colton:)

First Day of Preschool

Yesterday was Camdin's first day of preschool. He is in the PM class, so he doesn't go until 12:30. All morning long he couldn't wait to go, he walked around the house for hours with his shoes and backpack on asking every little bit if it was time yet.

Once he finally got there he took one look at the class room and was off. I had to make him say good bye to me, he was already totally engrossed in painting his rainbow. It was hard to let him go, I can't believe that he is old enough for all of this! But I know he is ready and loving it!

Finishing Projects

Now that the weather is cooling off I have been trying to finish some projects that I have started over the past year. Here is one that I just love. We made it in craft night and really like how it turned out. Thanks Keri for the great idea! Can you tell that the boys love it too?:)
Now on to the dozen other projects.

Park Fun

We went to the park this week and had it to our self. The kids ran around and explored and burned off all of their excess energy that has been building up these past rainy days.

Hopefully we will have lots of dry days this fall so we can have fun and play more!

Ward Camp Out

Last weekend we went on our ward camp out to Nisqually. We had lots of fun and the weather was great. The kids loved checking out all of the fun things to see. The biggest hit was a playground made out of 55 gallon drums. The kids loved the swings that spun and bounced.

They named the white one the airplane and would say they were flying to the moon.
They also loved checking out "the fort". It was a huge circle made out of small logs the the kids could climb up and look around.
The ropes coarse was fun.
The bamboo forest was also a big hit. Dustin cut them their own bamboo stick that they each took home.Posted by Picasa

The Friends B-day Party

For Camdin's friends Birthday party he wanted a batman party and he loves anything that involves water so we bought a huge blow up water slide. It sounds a little carzy but it was cheaper to buy then to rent:) It was a huge hit! It was a beautiful day and the kids had a blast climbing up the wall and sliding down the 7ft slide into a pool of water. I loved it because that was the entertainment not much more to plan.
There was even a little slide for the smaller kids.

Camdin got so many cool toys he has been in heaven.
It was a great party and I think everyone had fun!

The Family B-day Party

On Camdin's Birthday we had our small family party. Camdin picked Red Robin for dinner and then we came home and had cake (cookies) and opened up presents. Camdin has been loving all of his new toys. We gave him a iron man helmet, Colton got him some new monster trucks, and my parents got him a leapster. He is so spoiled:)

Iron Man/Spider Man

Camdin has been really good about sharing his new toys with his little brother. This is part of the Iron Man outfit.
