We went on a four wheeling trip to a creek and water fall this weekend. We had a picnic by the creek and walked and played around the little water fall. It was a fun little day trip. It did get dusty on the ride back as you can tell from the pic of the boys dirty faces.

Poor Colton he was in front of Dustin and got allot of dust.

Dustin's Birthday

Dustin's Birthday was this last Tuesday. It was supposed to be a beautiful day so I talked him into playing hooky with us. It turned out to be a fantastic day. We went swimming, to the movies (we saw up at the dollar theater), played at the park, and went to Red Robin for dinner. The boys did great and everything was so much fun. I think I should talk Dustin into playing hooky more often:)

Playing tag at the park.

Happy Birthday Honey! We love YOU:)

Splashing in the Mud

Yes it is true, we went four wheeling again last weekend. I was so set on not going but when I asked Camdin what he wanted to do, go swimming, to the movies, bowling and he said he wanted to go four wheeling how could I say no. We did have a great time. It had rained the night before so it was really muddy and huge puddles, so fun!
Jumping off rocks.

I usually never let the kids splash in puddles but when they are already muddy, why not?

Puyallup Fair

This week a friend and I took our kids to the Puylaup Fair. Both of our husbands were not excited to go so we went with out them. The kids had so much fun seeing animals riding rides eating good food (whats not to like). I still can't believe the summer is over.Camdin and Blake got to choose their 2 rides, the airplane and helicopter.
Baby chicks.

Colton was not scared of the animals. He used to freak out when ever one looked at him.

Colton was supposed to ride with me but he had to be 2 so Camdin and I rode.

Camdin's Birthday Bike

Camdin got a big boy Bike for his Birthday. But the first one we got was a little too small. So we found this cool Spider man bike that fits just right:) He loves it and is already doing great. I guess Colton is getting a big boy bike really early. He climbs in it and makes noises and has a blast. (Thank goodness for Craigslist!!)

Sarurday With Dad

Yesterday Dustin took the boys for almost a whole day. He got them dressed and fed that morning and I didn't see them again until after 8 pm that night. This was the longest I have ever been away from them. Dustin Camdin and Colton and a friend of theirs went four wheeling for the day. They had great weather and had a blast going up and down trails for over 4 hours.
I on the other hand had a fun filled day of canning. This was my first experience with canning. My friend showed me how and together we canned two boxes of peaches and 2 boxes of pears. So in total I have 30 jars of peaches and 30 jars of pears. It was allot of work but really fun. I think I will make this a yearly thing sending the boys off for a day and having a day full of girl talk:)

Bear Lake Over Labor Day

We had so much fun at Bear Lake last weekend. The weather was terrific not too hat not to cold a perfect 80 degrees. We played at the beach, rode four wheelers, hung out with family and my boys played with their cousins day in and day out. There were several bummers of the trip first being I left my battery to my camera in WA so was unable to take pictures. Second being our new truck was acting up. We were stuck in Boise for over 6 hours on the way there and 4 hours on the way back. It was kind of weird our truck had its problem both times at 2 in the morning right around Boise. Looks like Dustin is fixing our little problem today for good so hopefully we wont get stuck anywhere anytime soon.
We have been traveling so much this summer I am really looking forward to a nice calm fall and winter at home.At the pool.

Anything You Can Do I can Do too!

So this is latest trend at our house. Colton who is 21 months younger then Camdin insists on doing everything his big brother is doing. Camdin got a big boy bike for his birthday so of course Colton has to try it too. Camdin climbs up the ladder into the swing set and Colton does it too. Camdin goes on the monkey bars Colton has to do them too. As you may have noticed most of these things are very unsafe for a 15 month old but, Colton is very persuasive and if we don't help him he does it on his own when we are not looking. Well the latest activity he has insisted on doing was the zip line. I was very unsure about this one but he loved it. He must have gone up and down a half dozen times. We definitely have a little daredevil on our hands:)

Both of the boys did not want to take off their harnesses.
