It Is Getting Cold Outside

We had our first fire of the year today. I usually have the fireplace blocked off so I was a little nervous for the boys. But they did great! When Colton woke up from his nap to the fire he started blowing toward it. I assume he was trying to blow it out like a candle:) Then Camdin told him "hot hot" and that is all it took for him to be interested in something else.

Dustin has been busy getting firewood several Saturdays. Both of the boys are very curious around his chainsaw. We found the perfect solution, get them both their own. So far it has worked.

Uncle Mike

My Uncle was coming home from a work trip and was able to stop in Seattle for a layover. It was so nice to see him again. It has been 3 years since I saw him last. He took us out to dinner and we talked played and of course Uncle Mike spoiled the boys with a toy. After days like this I really wish Alaska was closer to Seattle. Thanks for a wonderful afternoon Uncle Mike, we miss you!

Uncle Mike got both of the boys a remote control car. It does flips and is easy to control. So much fun!

Veterans Day

We spent part of our Veterans Day at the beach. The boys had so much fun looking for shells fish and sticks. The sun was shining and it was a terrific day. I also got some pretty cute pics of the boys. I have found sticking the boys on something keeps them still and usually helps them to look in my direction. In these pics drift wood was very helpful:).

Halloween

This is pretty sad that I am just now posting about Halloween. I do have an excuse Dustin brought home the Swine Flu. He got it from a guy at work and one by one we have all gotten it. Luckily Camdin and Dustin got over it in 48 hours. Colton and I have gotten a cold with it so we are just finally feeling 100% again.
We did have a great Halloween. We went to the ward trunk-er-treat and the boys were able to play games and get tons of candy. Dustin took them around our culd-a-sac wear our neighbors gave them bags or candy(literally). It was a great Halloween. I am so glade the boys didn't get sick until after it was over.

There was no getting Camdin to look at the camera, he was too excited about the candy.

I have been getting many pics of this face. I think he is saying "enough already".

Halloween Dress Rehearsal

Yesterday we had our play group Halloween dress rehearsal. We had a great turn out and the kids had tons of fun playing. It is also nice to get a little more use out of their cute costumes. So I made Camdin's ninja costume this year and was planing on making Colton a ninja costume too but Camdin's old dinosaur costume is cute and it fits Colton perfectly so i didn't. Camdin is so funny about his costume one minute he is a ninja the next batman and then iron man, who new a costume could be so versatile:) I am just glade he likes it because when he saw Colton's he threw a fit and said he wanted to be a dinosaur too.

Meris Farm

We have just found a new family tradition... Visiting Meris Farm. It was so much fun. We were able to do so many fun things with the kids. Our fist adventure was a huge corn field maze then a monster truck ride (if you know my boys this was a hit!), a hey ride, a huge slide, animals, face painting, tractor cow ride, bouncy thing, and of course we found our perfect pumpkin. It was a long fun day and I can't wait to go back again next year!
