4th Of July

We had a great 4th this year. We started out sleeping in (Camdin didn't wake up until 10:30!). Then we packed a lunch and headed to the "beach". I put that in quotes because it is not a pretty beach it is dirty and slimy beach that the kids love to play in and get dirty and slimy. Then we came home and put Colton and Daddy down for a nap and Camdin and I cooked for our barbecue that night at our friends house. We ate and played and set off fireworks and talked until we ran out of fireworks at 11:30pm. Which is when we came home and crashed. I love holidays!!

I forgot my camera so this pic is from the night before.
I was so mad at myself:(

Baseball Game

On Friday we went to the Rainier's baseball game. Every year they have a huge fireworks show after the game for 4th of July. We were able to watch the game and enjoy the show with a couple of friends. Unfortunately this is a very popular activity so the game was packed. We arrived over an hour early and we ended up in the nose bleed section. It turned out really fun we were able to spread out a little and the kids played and ate tons of candy. They put on some patriotic music for fireworks which I thought was great because it really made you think about our country and the reason for the holiday.

Cheese!

Waiting for the show to start.

Colton was tired but loved the fireworks.

Sprinkler

It has been terrific weather here in the North West. We are loving it. The boys and I have been outside just about every chance we get. We have been swimming, on walks, playing on the swing set, and today we got out the sprinkler. The boys were having so much fun they did not want to stop. They both got soaked and had a blast. I love summer time!!
(Ignore our dieing grass that needs to be mowed and weeded.)

Camdin running through the sprinkler.

Colton's turn (I don't think he even got wet).

I am so happy that Camdin and Colton are playing so well together. It makes my life so much easier:)

Schools Out!!

Dustin took his final for school last week and we found out he passed this week. Yeah Daddy! We are all so proud of all of your hard work. Dustin is still standing out in his Company. Kone continues to ask for his help and opinion. It looks like because of Dustin's hard work and skills we will continue to have a job through this nasty recession. Thanks Honey we appreciate all that you do for us!

Grove of the Patriarchs Trail

This was our last hike we did last weekend. I really loved it because it was short easy to do with kids and the trees and scenery were amazing. It said that some of the trees were over 30 stories high. (oh and we lost Internet connection for 3 days this week that is why this post is over due. I never realized how much I rely on the Internet until it was gone. Thanks honey for fixing it:)

This was far from the biggest tree, but the easiest to climb on:)

The kids loved posing for pictures.

Remember we were camping!

Camping......In the Rain

This weekend we decided to go camping with some friends of ours to Mt Rainier. Before this weekend the Seattle area has been having record breaking days without rain (for June). So of course the weekend we picked it rained everyday. Luckily Saturday it only sprinkled in the morning so we were able to have some fun. We went hiking saw cool water falls and big trees, the kids played with sticks and rocks and we were all so tired we were able to sleep good at night. Next time we go I will double check the weather report:)Give Camdin sticks rocks and water and he is entertained for hours.

This is on our way back after the first hike. The boys did good but could not make it the whole way. I think it would have helped if our back pack didn't get soaked.

I love how green Washington is.
